| Δ / absolute variance | Current minus reference |
| Δ% / relative variance | Change divided by the selected denominator |
| Result | Waterfall/cumulative anchor, not another additive contribution |
| Invert | Change contribution/interpretation where the calculation mode supports it |
| Model total | Value calculated by the semantic model in total context |
| Displayed sum | Additive total over values delivered/shown in the visual |
| Period input | A selected calendar attribute used to choose the expanded Date endpoint |

| PPM | Parts per million outside specifications; observed or model-estimated |
| Y/Y | Amount growth against Previous year; not margin percentage-point movement |
